We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Retail Associate to help keep our neighborhood shop running smoothly. If you’ve got a knack for making people feel welcome, don’t mind rolling up your sleeves, and can keep the front end running smoother than a fresh jar of peanut butter, you might be our person.
Responsibilities
Greet & assist customers. Set the tone of the store.
Ring up purchases (cash, card, mobile)
FOOD PREP: Make Sandwiches, scoop ice, prepare ingredients
Help customers find what they need, answer questions about products
Keep the counter and checkout area tidy
Restock shelves and coolers
Open up shop in the morning or lock it down at night
Pitch in to keep the whole place clean & organized
Help plan & staff neighborhood events that make our corner the place to be
Requirements
Must be 18+ years old (in order to handle alcohol purchases)
Availability for 15-20+ hours, including weekend shifts
Bonus points if you’ve worked a register or helped customers before, but it’s not a deal-breaker
Reliability and punctuality is a must. Show up on time.
