What this is, and why we’re doing it

Huck's was never meant to be just a place to grab what you need. It's a stop on a walk, a catch-up with a friend, an ice cream run with the kids, a few minutes to yourself. Somewhere you come in for a cold Coke and end up chatting with the person behind the counter.

So Welcome to The Corner Scoop - our way of keeping that conversation going. We’ll tell you what’s new at the store, maybe share a bottle of wine we’re excited about, and let you know if anything fun is happening around the corner.

If you ever want off the list, there's a link at the bottom and we won't take it personally. But your scoops might be smaller. ;-)

How Things Are Going

We're settling in. The sandwich line moves a little faster than it did in the early weeks. We've figured out which wines hit. And we're learning what y'all like — a little local, a little unexpected, and a surprisingly high demand for socks and hair clips. The winter felt long, but the summer was fun. And we’ll be 1 year old in October!

Good Grapes

A bit about our wine selection — Every bottle on our shelf comes from a small, family-owned or independent producer — farming sustainably and organically, and all of them making wine because they genuinely love it. No giant labels, no mass production.

Good for a neighbor's dinner table, good for a Tuesday night on the couch. Often limited, so if you find one you love, grab a couple.

THIS SATURDAY! Dust off the helmet, grab an ice cream, and make an evening of it — WKND eBikes is setting up shop right outside our door. They're a family-owned, neighborhood business, so let’s show them some love.
